About Us
Our practice has been serving the area since the 1970's. Originally located at 107 East Cook Street in downtown Portage, we were fortunate enough to be able to expand our facilities and relocate to 130 Henry Drive on the north side of town in 1998. For all that time, our commitment to providing quality vision care and exceptional service has remained strong. Dr. Julie L. Goldthorpe received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1998. She also received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University. Julie enjoys general optometry and has a special interest in contact lens fittings and pediatric exams.
Dr. Jeffry S. Goldthorpe graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1998. He completed his pre-optometry requirements at the University of Wisconsin. Jeff has a special interest in ocular disease treatment and surgical co-management. Jeff and Julie have four children and enjoy outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and photography.
