Goldthorpe Family Eyecare is currently open with some temporary changes:
Our office is open for routine exams and urgent care visits, and our optical dispensary is also open for eyewear selections.
We ask that all visitors to our office observe spacing of at least 6 feet whenever possible.
We also ask that you please call rather than visiting our office if you have questions about insurance or other concerns that can be taken care of on the phone.
For the health and safety of our patients, staff, and the community as a whole, all of us at the office will be wearing face masks at all times.
We are asking everyone else to wear a mask at all times while in the office as well. Disposable medical masks will be required during eye exams. When possible, please bring your own, but if you don't have one, we will give you one at the door.
Before allowing access to our office, we will be performing health screenings at the time an appointment is made and also during reminder calls.
We will reschedule your visit if you or anyone you have been in close contact with has been experiencing any of the following symptoms in the past two weeks: recent onset of cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, new muscle aches, or loss of taste or smell.
We will be continuing to perform intensive disinfection of equipment and surrounding areas between patient appointments, and we are limiting appointments to allow more time to do this correctly.
All frames that are tried on by patients in our optical dispensary will be cleaned before being returned to the retail area.
